DoD365 Boot Camp is here!

By DoD365 Team

Boot Camp is finally here! DoD365 Boot Camp starts this Monday, Aug. 23.

These trainings will launch you into a new era of more efficient, collaborative work. You'll graduate ready to use all the new tools, with a Microsoft DoD365 Boot Camp certificate to validate your proficiency.

Check out the original announcement on MyCG for more details.

To participate, all you’ll need is the web link for each day's session.

Please test your ability to access the training in advance. Here’s how:

  1. Review the general DoD365 Teams Tech Tips (CAC required) and follow the sections entitled, “Clear your Cookies before accessing a Teams meetings via web browser” and “Issues accessing the Teams Desktop Application?” Following these steps will help prevent errors if you previously used the Commercial Virtual Remote (CVR) version of Teams.

  2. Review the “Tech Tips” for successful access to the DoD365 Boot Camp training sessions (CAC required ). Most importantly: You must attend DoD365 Boot Camp training via the web browser and not through the DoD365 Teams Desktop application. (Because Microsoft is hosting, it won't be held through our own DoD365.) You must select “Or join anonymously” when prompted.

Microsoft has provided a “Test Window” tomorrow - Friday, 20 August 2021 from 12:00 – 4:00 EDT. During this time, you can visit the test link to verify your audio and video settings are working properly. Here are the steps:

  1. Copy and paste the test link into your browser: https://aka.ms/CGBootCampTest.
  2. Follow the steps in the “Tech Tips” for successful access to the DoD365 Boot Camp training sessions to access the link.
  3. If you see a slide and hear sound, you are all set!
  4. If you experience issues and have followed the Tech Tips in section 1 and 2 above, please send an email to SMB-USCG-M365@uscg.mil with “Issues Accessing DoD365 Boot Camp Training” in the subject line.
