Service members: Please take the Gender Relations Survey

By Department of Defense Office of People Analytics

The Workplace and Gender Relations (WGR) Survey opened today. Your responses will help the Department of Defense (DoD) prevent and respond to sexual harassment, sexual assault, and gender discrimination.

All service members, active duty and reserve, are encouraged to participate by going to DoDsurveys.mil.

You can take the survey on a desktop computer, on your smart phone, or tablet. The survey is official business, so service members can take the survey while on-duty and on either a government or personal device.

Your responses are confidential, and individuals who complete the survey cannot be identified.

Survey results allow the Coast Guard and other service branches to monitor their progress toward eliminating sexual assault, sexual harassment, and gender discrimination within the military.

The findings also provide official estimates of the prevalence of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and gender discrimination in the military.

The Department of Defense has been conducting the Congressionally mandated WGR Survey since 1988.
