Coast Guard Commandant announces new CGIS Director

Jeremy Gauthier has been selected as director of the Coast Guard Investigative Service (CGIS).  
 
In this capacity, he will lead the design, development, and implementation of policies, regulations, and procedures for service-wide investigations and administration of CGIS offices, task force operations, protective services, force protection, training, and special operations detachments. The director is responsible for ensuring that operations comply with Coast Guard, Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and federal law enforcement standards. 
 
Gauthier holds over 24 years of criminal investigative experience with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS).
