U.S. Coast Guard Base Kodiak continues construction for a new housing project at the Nemetz Park Site, Aug. 23, 2024. Base Kodiak is constructing around 50 units to accomodate 200 service members and their families that will be attached to the polar-class cutters scheduled to commission in Kodiak within the next few years.
