WASHINGTON, D.C. - Seaman Nate Dirvin ran just over 200 miles around Mount St. Helens and through the Cascade Mountains of Washington State for the Bigfoot 200 race, Aug. 12, 2021. Dirvin has been running to raise funds for the non-profit charitable organization Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA). He began serving in the Coast Guard in March 2021 and learned of CGMA while in basic training. U.S. Coast Guard photo.
