WASHINGTON, DC - Coast Guard Cutter Walnut, a buoy tender homeported in Honolulu and deployed to the Persian Gulf in February 2003, performs aids to navigation work. The cutter arrived in the Persian Gulf Feb. 27, 2003 to support U.S. Naval Forces Central Command during Operation Iraqi Freedom. (Coast Guard Collection)
