Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen aircrew rescues swimmer in distress in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

The crew of a Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter rescued a swimmer in distress just off Rompe Olas Beach near downtown Aguadilla Sept. 13, 2021. The Coast Guard aircrew deployed their rescue swimmer and a rescue basket to recover the survivor, a woman in her mid thirties, who was flown to Air Station Borinquen, where Emergency Medical Service personnel evaluated her condition before being released after not presenting an injury or medical concern.
