National Coast Guard Spouses Club looking for leaders

Are you a Coast Guard Spouse interested in leadership and networking? A National Council of Coast Guard Spouses’ Clubs position may be right for you.

The National Council of Coast Guard Spouses’ Clubs is currently looking for spouses of active duty members, enlisted or officers, to join their board for the following positions: treasurer, by-Laws advisor, newsletter editor, and Facebook administrator. The positions are voluntary and the deadline for self-nominations is March 31, 2021.

The Council is an advisory board that helps to establish new spouses’ clubs, and acts as a liaison with the Office of Work Life and the spouses’ clubs.

Interested spouses should reside in the Washington, D.C., area or should be relocating to the area in 2021. They should also hold a membership in an affiliated Coast Guard Spouses’ Club. Please send a brief paragraph introducing yourself and the position you are interested in so that the Council can review submissions and vote on them.

For more information, please email Kim Allan.
