WATCH Live at 1100 EDT: President Biden speaks at CGA graduation

President Joseph R. Biden Jr. will deliver the keynote address during graduation ceremonies at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

The 140th Commencement Exercises will begin at 11:00 a.m., on Cadet Memorial Field.

This is Biden's first address at a service academy as commander in chief. The ceremony marks CGA's 140th graduation and Biden's second keynote address there: He spoke at the event in 2013 as vice president.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only graduates and their guests will be allowed to attend, while masking requirements and social distancing measures will be in place.
