Calling all runners, walkers, and veterans. The Coast Guard Marathon is offering a limited time registration discount for veterans for the 2022 events. Whether you plan to participate in Elizabeth City, N.C., or maybe virtually in Southern California, all veterans have an opportunity to receive 15% off the registration fee. This limited time offer is available from Nov. 11-14.
“We wanted to offer a special thank you to our Veterans by offering a 15% discount for the Coast Guard Marathon entrance fee,” said Corrina Ruffieux, Race Director of the Coast Guard Marathon. “This inaugural, in-person event will be a legacy event for Coasties and their supporters for years to come and we can’t wait to run in support of our oldest maritime defenders!”
The Coast Guard’s inaugural, in-person event is scheduled to take place March 3-5, 2022, in Elizabeth City. However, if you are excited to participate, but are unable to travel, you can still join in virtually in any of the events.

- Marathon – 26.2 miles
- Half Marathon – 13.1 miles
- 5K race – 3.1 miles
- Semper Paratus Challenge 26.2 – this includes the marathon and the 5K race
- Semper Paratus Challenge 13.1 – this includes the half marathon and the 5K race
- Virtual marathon
- Virtual half marathon
- Virtual 5K race
- Virtual Semper Paratus Challenge 26.2
- Virtual Semper Paratus Challenge 13.1
