UPDATE: 8 more enlisted career guides available

Earlier this year the Coast Guard published 11 career guides for some of the enlisted ratings. In March eight more career guides were published and are now available for the enlisted workforce.  

Now available:  

  • Boatswain’s mate
  • Electrician’s mate
  • Electronics technician
  • Health services technician
  • Intelligence specialist 
  • Machinery technician 
  • Public affairs specialist 
  • Store keeper.   

Marine science technicians can expect a career guide to be available later in the year.
