The Thrift Saving Plan (TSP) has recently launched new features and made several changes. Listed below are some highlights that you need to know:
- All TSP participants must set up a new login for their TSP account by visiting tsp.gov. This one-time setup process will ask you to verify your identity, create a username and password, and set up account security authentication.
- Once you are logged onto TSP, ensure that your beneficiary designation is accurate and current in My Account. Beneficiary information can now be submitted online through a tool in My Account. For more information on Beneficiary changes, please visit the Summary of Changes page.
- There is a TSP mobile app available for download onto your personal device. The app will give you the ability to check your account summary, track investments, make transactions requests, and more.
- TSP has also added a new investment option through the TSP mutual fund window. TSP participants interested in this investment option should be aware of the requirements and fees associated with the mutual fund window.
