Coast Guard Foundation extends season for Spouse Grants

By AJ Pulkkinen, MyCG writer

The Coast Guard Foundation extended the application period to until Dec. 1 for the Spouse Grant, which funds educational costs for eligible spouses. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!

The Coast Guard Foundation awards $500 grants to spouses who:

  • Are non-military spouses of enlisted Coast Guard members in ranks E3 – E8,
  • Have enrolled in professional development courses, licensing courses, certificates, certifications and college and graduate level degrees from a nationally or regionally accredited institution, and
  • Have not already received a 2023 grant.

You must submit proof of 2023 enrollment, provide basic biographic information and answer questions about your area of study.

The Coast Guard Foundation awards the $500 grants in the order in which they are received, with priority given to spouses of members E-6 and under.
