Vote to name the new modernized learning management system!

By AJ Pulkkinen, MyCG Team writer

The Coast Guard is rolling out a new modernized learning management system (MLMS) next year.

The rollout of this MLMS is a big step in the long-term plan to meet the Commandant’s goal of transforming our total workforce by developing individually tailored, on-demand and modernized learning for the continuous professional and personal growth of our members.

What this means for you

We need your help to select the new name for the system. Voting is now open until Dec. 27! You can rank order the five current options and even add your own name for consideration.

Based on your input, FORCECOM will adopt a name and make the announcement early next calendar year. Let us hear your voice!

The new MLMS platform has already proven successful in places like the U.S. Air Force. It is identical in content and similar in function to the current LMS. Over the next few years, the Coast Guard will continue to add features on the new MLMS that benefit YOU, the user.
