The ball is open to all members of the Coast Guard community, including active-duty personnel, retirees, reservists, auxiliary members, veterans, civilians and VIP guests, as well as supporters, sponsors and donors connected to EPIC. Tickets are available online until Wednesday May 29, 2024, by midnight EDT. Note: Attendance requires base access at Langley Air Force Base. Please ensure you have the necessary permissions or contact us for assistance

Who is EPIC?

EPIC is a Coast Guard affinity group that supports Black/African Americans and underrepresented minorities in the service. They do so in various ways such as mentorship, advocacy, EPIC Talk Series, CG Office of Diversity & Inclusion White Paper Collaboration, Cadet Mentorship Assistance Program (CMAP) and so much more. Their efforts drive essential changes in diversity and inclusion across the service. For instance, EPIC has partnered with Coast Guard Recruiting to reach minority groups and generate additional recruiting funnels. They've also advised changes with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to help address DEI related concerns.

Your ticket not only grants you entry but also directly supports EPIC's vital programs aimed at fostering equity and inclusion within the Coast Guard. EPIC is made up of Coast Guard members, and is intended to elevate future, current, and past Coast Guard members by creating a better workforce climate for all.
