Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 1342.28 Yellow Ribbon Reintegration
Establishes policy and procedures for the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program and sets requirements for provisions during all phases of activation, mobilization or deployment.

Active Duty for Operational Support (ADOS) Policy
Provides guidance on how to apply for and become activated for long-term, non-contingency ADOS.

Coast Guard Uniforms Standards

Coast Guard Tattoo Policy

Credentialing Opportunities Online (CG Cool)
As a Coast Guard member, you can research and find certifications and licenses related to your current specialty that could be leveraged into requirements for the civilian workforce.

Mentorship
The Coast Guard Mentoring Toolkit is designed for those seeking a mentor, or available to be a mentor. The toolkit can also connect you to a mentoring network throughout the Department of Homeland Security and the federal government.

Joint Service Schools
Here is a list of schools that provide strategic defense coursework. The list includes National Defense University and Defense Acquisition University, to name a couple.

Leadership and Management School (LAMS) (CAC Access Required)
A one-week course to help front-line supervisors enhance their supervisory skills. This course provides three college credits and all graduates receive credit on their military transcripts.

Resident Training
Explore the resident schools for various ratings, including international training opportunities.

Electronic Based Distributed Learning (EBDL) Courses
The EBDL lists courses from one of two categories: Command-Directed EBDL, which are required to be completed by SELRES members; and Non-Command Directed EBDL, which are Non-Command courses that are considered electives and are not on the COMDT-approved list.

National Awards for Reservists
There are three national awards with two categories each that recognize Reservists with exemplary service in honor of the leaders for which they were named.

Department of Defense Reserve Family Readiness Awards Criteria and Submission Template
An annual recognition of units from each of the Armed Forces Reserve components that have demonstrated excellence in family readiness and have contributed to mission success.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Awards
These Department of Defense awards recognize employers for their exceptional support of National Guard and Reserve members. Some of the awards are also available for spouses of Reservists.

Chief Warrant Officer Professional Development Course
The CWOPD course is designed to assist newly commissioned CWOs in transitioning into the commissioned officer ranks. The course curriculum focuses on leadership, service etiquette, customs and courtesies, communication (oral and written), and the necessary administrative skills needed to become an effective Coast Guard Officer. Attendance and successful completion of the CWOPD course is mandatory for all W-2s within the first 18 months of commission.
