Coast Guard Cutter returns home after 95-day deployment
Petty Officer 3rd Class, a maritime enforcement specialist aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf, embraces his son after returning from a 95-day deployment in the Eastern Pacific. The 126-person Alameda-based crew of Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf interdicted nine smuggling vessels, detained 22 suspected narcotraffickers, and seized over 20,000 pounds of illegal narcotics while deployed.
