Coast Guard Marathon offering Veterans Day discount

Limited time discount for 15% off registration fee    

In December 2020 the Coast Guard announced a temporary change to the Coast Guard Supplemental to the Joint Travel Regulations (CGS-JTR) allowing members more flexibility when choosing a vehicle processing center (VPC) for the government funded shipment of their POV. This change was set to expire 31 December 2021. However, this policy has been extended another year, and approved to become a permanent addition to the CGS-JTR. The mentoring program launches its mobile app and program milestones

The Competition runs from April 8-11, 2019, with the top Soldier and NCO competing in the Region 1 Competition against National Guard Troops from the six New England states and New York. Base Kodiak's Morale, Well-Being and Recreation staff are pictured in April 2020 during their monthly free ice cream giveaway for Coast Guard families. COVID protocols were in place to avoid close contact during the monthly giveaways in the spring and summer. The event was turned into an ice cream drive-through and 363 families were served.
