A Coast Guard Station Islamorada 45-foot response boat-medium boat crew assisted three people aboard a 50-foot white sport fisher vessel, Legasea, taking on water, Saturday, approximately 5 miles south of Tavernier, Jan. 2, 2020. U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Andres Murtillo enters the water Feb. 1, 2020, during a scuba dive about seven miles north of McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Scuba divers from the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army and the Royal Canadian Navy are serving aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Polar Star (WAGB-10) in order to effect emergency repairs if needed to the 44-year-old heavy icebreaker.
