COVID-19: Reserve demobilization guidance

All reservists on active duty in support of COVID-19 must demobilize by Sept. 30 or transition to a new funding string.

Ensign Kathleen Spotz, stationed at Sector Northern New England in South Portland, Maine, was named the 2020 Coast Guard Female Athlete of the year in recognition of her superior performance as a runner. Recently, Spotz ran across the entire state of Maine in just over 30 hours—becoming the first person ever to do so!

Our Leader of the Week nomination comes from Petty Officer 3rd Class Joe Chang, a marine science technician based out of U.S. Coast Guard New York currently on Title 10 Orders in Brooklyn, New York as part of the Covid-19 Vaccination roll out. Coast Guard kicks off National Safe Boating Week 2021, and Coast Guard, DoD Partners conduct search and rescue exercise off N.C. coast

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (March 31, 202) Sister ships USCGC Charles Moulthrope (WPC 1141) and USCGC Robert Goldman (WPC 1142) moor side-by-side March 31, 2021, at Sector San Juan as they continue their journey to their new homeport. Charles Moulthrope and Robert Goldman are en route to their new homeport in Bahrain in support of the Navy’s U.S. Fifth Fleet and U.S. Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia. While in the U.S. Navy’s Sixth Fleet area of responsibility, the crews will support engagements with partner countries strengthening relationships and demonstrating our continued commitment to global maritime security and stability.
