During this part of the competition, the five Soldiers, one Airman, and three NCOs will evaluated on high and low crawl, sled drag, medical evaluation, 9-line medical evacuation request, M249 machine gun breakdown, and an M9 pistol and M4 carbine tactical shoot. The Competition runs from April 8-11, 2019, with the top Soldier and NCO competing in the Region 1 Competition against National Guard Troops from the six New England states and New York. BZ: Coast Guard Academy, Adm. Nimitz Pistol Competition, Coast Guard and Aviation History Month

Bravo Zulu to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy for ranking among the nation’s top institutions of higher learning.
