PCS Assist update—Work-around for phone line’s technical difficulties

By By Keisha Reynolds, MyCG Writer

Due to technical difficulties, the Permanent Change of Duty Station (PCS) Assist Team’s toll-free number, (833) 551-0887, is no longer available. The PCS Assist Team will still cease operations on September 30, 2021. Until that date, those with PCS customer service needs should route their requests to the appropriate administrative support, transportation, housing, or technical expert representatives. Also, the shared PCS mailbox will continue to be monitored through September 30, 2021.

Should you have an emergent need for PCS Assist Team support from now through the end of the month, you can call the PCS Assist Team lead at (757) 286-4232. The previous MyCG article can provide you with a comprehensive overview of the PCS Team including its successes throughout their operations and the impact they’ve made.

As you transition from the PCS Assist Team, some of your support service needs can be found through CG SUPRT among other resources.
