Coast Guard kicks off National Safe Boating Week 2021, and Coast Guard, DoD Partners conduct search and rescue exercise off N.C. coast

This 20,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility will boast a contemporary design by the architectural firm SmithGroup that is expressive of sleek hull shapes, vessels under full sail, and wooden hulls. Its curvilinear vaulted roof, wooden decks, and true north orientation aim to harmonize with the waterfront landscape to create awe-inspiring spaces unlike any other at the Academy.

USCG Cutter Tampa offloads $94.6M in cocaine, USCG Cutter Harriet Lane welcomes new commanding officer

Munro is one of four National Security Cutters homeported in Alameda. These Legend class cutters are 418-feet long, 54-feet wide, and have a 4,600 long-ton displacement. They have a top speed in excess of 28 knots, a range of 12,000 nautical miles, endurance of up to 90 days and can hold a crew of nearly 150.
