The 2021 Wanda Allen-Yearout Ombudsman of the Year announced, district winners recognized 

Ivonne Ontiveros-Lopez became the 36th awardee and newest recipient of the Ombudsman of the Year award.

Official headshot of Michael J. Swierc, who enlisted in the Coast Guard on Aug. 11, 1942, and trained as a motor machinist’s mate before deploying overseas for the first wave of the D-Day invasion.
