The commemoration honors all United States veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces from Nov. 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975. We are in the midst of a 50-year anniversary commemoration of that 20-year period of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War.

Recreational boat engine cut-off switch law will improve maritime safety

Beginning April 1, 2021, operators of recreational vessels less than 26 feet in length will be required to use the engine cut-off switch (ECOS) and associated ECOS link (ECOSL).

The U.S. Department of Defense is committed to making its electronic and information technologies accessible to individuals with disabilities in accordance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d), as amended in 1998. DoD websites use the WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standard.
