U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Healy (WAGB 20) approaches the pier during its return to home port in Seattle on Dec. 15, 2023, following a multi-month deployment to the Arctic and circumnavigating North America. Cutter Healy returns home after circumnavigating the globe

Coast Guard Cutter Calhoun arrives to new homeport in Charleston

“Having completed the challenges of acceptance, training, and sailing one of the most technologically advanced assets in the Coast Guard, I am excited to bring cutter Calhoun to its homeport and the community of Charleston.” - Senior Chief Petty Officer Aaron Deluca, Calhoun’s command senior enlisted leader.

The Facilitated Online Training framework was developed as part of the service’s Modernized Ready Learning Strategy which is focused on adopting current industry technologies to make learning more adaptable, modular, and student centered.
