COVID-19: Reserve demobilization guidance

All reservists on active duty in support of COVID-19 must demobilize by Sept. 30 or transition to a new funding string.

Ensign Kathleen Spotz, stationed at Sector Northern New England in South Portland, Maine, was named the 2020 Coast Guard Female Athlete of the year in recognition of her superior performance as a runner. Recently, Spotz ran across the entire state of Maine in just over 30 hours—becoming the first person ever to do so!

Our Leader of the Week nomination comes from Petty Officer 3rd Class Joe Chang, a marine science technician based out of U.S. Coast Guard New York currently on Title 10 Orders in Brooklyn, New York as part of the Covid-19 Vaccination roll out.
