A team from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy participated in the National Security Agency’s 20th annual National Cyber Exercise (NCX), a three-day cyber competition that tests the offensive and defensive cybersecurity skills virtually, April 8-10, 2021. The Coast Guard Academy recently instituted a Cyber Systems degree to meet the needs of the services cyber security strategy of defending cyber space, enabling operations, and protecting infrastructure. Coast Guard Academy participates in NSA Cyber Exercise 2021

The National Security Agency helps prepare future military leaders to protect our critical infrastructure by conducting the NSA Cyber Exercise (NCX)

Twelve new housing units have been added to Culp Court within the Coast Guard Triumph Housing Complex in Astoria, Ore., and families can begin moving in June 27, 2019. The 12 new units plus a maintenance and operations building complete phase II of a housing project that has cost a total of $19.3 million to complete. Innovation Council briefs CGA cadets on becoming agents of change

The USCGC Alert (WMEC 127) and its crew return to homeport in Astoria, Oregon, Wednesday, April 7, 2021, following a 63-day patrol that began in early February. The cutter and crew patrolled off the coast of Mexico and in the vicinity of the United States-Mexico Maritime Boundary Line enforcing international laws and treaties to disrupt illegal narcotics and migrant smuggling.
